A diver stumbles across a Whale Shark trapped in a commercial fishing line. Whale Sharks belong to the shark family and are slow moving filter feeders that feed almost exclusively on plankton. Dispite their size, claims of individuals over 45 ft long are not uncommon, they are harmless to humans. Sensing the diver is there to help, the shark slows its forward motion while the rope is cut.
